For some years, the industry pushed 100% plant alternatives. They had a texture problem. We had a different idea.

SMAQO comes from Swedish smak — taste. Add a bold, modern twist, and you get a name that travels: simple to say, simple to remember, hard to forget at the dinner table.
Our team works out of Folkungagatan 16, in central Gothenburg. Our meat products are produced in Sweden through co-manufacturing partners.
